Ian Michael has posted at Imr Tech some great news about the Dreamcast Scene being in the mainstream media:[br][br]Flipping through the newest edition of Retro Gamer magazine (Issue 2), I came upon the Dreamcast section, and to my disbelief on page 87 there it was, in print, I quote:[br][br]"Much better are the Single game Arcade Emulators - Stand alone emultors that run specific games. Past releases have included 1943, Bubble Bobble, Wonderboy and Street Fighter II."[br][br]If any of you have the edition and could post a scan of the article we would love to see it.[br][br]We thank Retro Gamer for posting some news about this great scene we have

News from IMR Tech [br][br] Great game but the Dreamcast doesn't have enough memory. So we cant load a level up so we cant play it yet. You cant play a level but you can get ingame and move the character around. Without a level, theress no game.[br][br]Title screen is all you will get. I have uploaded it more for developers to work on. Ive got in game and had it load a custom level before. This source will get stuck on the title screen play the music. No level is loaded. Included elf will boot but only to the title screen. letting it load a level will make it run out of memory [br][br]Ian also posted this news:[br][br] Info SDL graphics drawing primitives and other support functions The SDL_gfx library evolved out of the SDL_gfxPrimitives code which provided basic drawing routines such as lines, circles or polygons and SDL_rotozoom which implemented a interpolating rotozoomer for SDL surfaces. The current components of the SDL_gfx library are: Graphic Primitives (SDL_gfxPrimitves.h) Rotozoomer (SDL_rotozoom.h) Framerate control (SDL_framerate.h) MMX image filters (SDL_imageFilter.h) The library is backwards compatible to the above mentioned code. Its is written in plain C and can be used in C++ code.

After a conversation with burnerO this evening, he informed me that he plans on having a new Selfboot Inducer release ready by next Tuesday. Some of the features he mentioned that he will be including are:[br]- Comments within the SBI files that will show up in the Selfboot Inducer GUI, explaining where to place roms and other important files.[br]
- An option to create a selfbooting disc image from a single SBI, similar to the way Selfboot creates disc images from plain files.[br]
- The newest stable version of CDRTools (formerly known as CDRecord) will be included in this release, increasing compatibility with more burners.
[br]If you have other features in mind that you might like to see in the new version of Selfboot Inducer, a topic has been started in the DCEmulation forums.

DCStuff has released an SBI of _tyrell's_ new Spectrum emu. You can download the SBI from DCStuff' SBI Page. This SBI includes the "roms" needed to get the emu going. You still have to provide the games, but everything else needed for this emu is in the SBI.[br][br]Hawq also posted this little bit of advice on the DCEmulation forums:[br]- For games for this one go to World of Spectrum they have permission to distrubute quite a lot of games.

Lik Sang have posted this news on their site:[br][br] If you have a Dreamcast, you already know that Sega's discontinuing productions had some quite surprising & positive side effects: accessories sold out at ground levels, high-tech systems changing hands for record-low prices, and the best of all, tons of damn good games for incredible bargains. If you didn't join the DC resistance yet, or worse, if you didn't even realize what was going on, you're lucky to have a last chance to jump on the bandwagon as Lik Sang carries the 128-bit monster again for just US$ 69.99 (more info). Back to topic, we have received today and yesterday several batches of games from Europe, Japan and USA at even lower prices than before, the difference going all to you. [br][br]For more info head over to Lik Sang

[br]The new Test version, was faster when, you used these settings i found. Seems To be geting closer to a playable level. Sound is still metal sounding. This could be due to a problem with sdldc port or it just not fast-enff.[br][br]Settings that made all games faster were.[br][br]When i set it to Throttle 150, frameskip 1, Speed 166mhz i get a very good boost all games are faster. [br][br]Xrick christmas clone was faster with these settings to me and on the new version.[br][br]I dont know if the 166mhz does any thing at all. but seem to? Gp32 has over clock i wonder if this version has some other setting in the code that go along with this.[br][br]
