Recently I asked tursi in his forums, about the DS version of the game he replied:
Well, like most small groups of gamers who try to put together a large project in their "spare time", we've hit a lot of snags. One of which is getting the website updated so I can post news articles, hehe. Most of the snags in the last while have been administrative, but, we're moving forward. Art and assets are 100%, there's still some more code to write though. We have our Nintendo developer status and are licensed to work on the system. We'll be opening our new office soon and that will allow work to move forward again, hopefully there's not too much left to go.

Lavalit have today released a new build of Openbor for the PSP, Dreamcast, Dingoo, GP2x, Wii and Wiz
Heres whats new:
New command "counterrange" {start frame} {end frame} {mode} {damage}. Identical to counterframe {frame} {mode} {damage} except allows range of frames.
Counterframe code now uses array.. still haven't solved bug for modes 2+. Will keep at it
Beats of Rage was created by Senile Team. However, the character sprites and
some parts of the backgrounds are taken from 'the King of Fighters' games by
SNK Playmore. Therefore special thanks go out to SNK Playmore and SEGA who
unknowingly helped in creating this game.
Beats of Rage and OpenBOR are a free, fully functional game, which includes
music, and features six playable levels plus a bonus level. It is available
for many systems

Lars Hannig aka Starcat is back working on Eerievale and posted an update at Dreamcast-Scene.com:
Quote:
The project is still in development and still planned for a Dreamcast release once it is done.
It's an extremly ambitious project and a lot has changed for the better since you may have last heard of it.
Now that my study is finished and I have my degree in game design, I'm back working hard on Eerievale.
This is just a little reminder and a sign of life. Please do not give up hope yet. Good things will come to those who wait.
Thank you very much to all loyal Dreamcast fans out there who still believe in Eerievale.
Regards, Lars.

Big news this week at Out-of-Print Archive, as the first official release is announced with the second issue of Mega Drive Advanced Gaming -- a fantastic underrated magazine of its time. Fittingly, this milestone release was worked on by all the main contributors over at Out-of-Print Archive. Online articles chosen for the release include reviews of Gleylancer, Magical Tarot, Thunderforce IV and Twinkle Tale. Check out the MAG2 page over at OoPA for the content highlights, issue details and download link.

The Lavalit team have released yet another new version of Openbor for the consoles such as PSP, Dreamcast, Dingoo, Wii, Gp2x and Wiz:
OpenBOR
----------------------
OpenBOR is a continuation of Beats Of Rage originally created by the wonderful
folks over at http://www.senileteam.com
History
----------------------
As fans of the 'Streets of Rage' series that originally appeared on the SEGA
megadrive/genesis, we always wanted to see streets of rage 4. But the waiting
proved futile, and streets of rage 4 never came. That's why we tried to correct
this mistake and fill the void by making the ultimate tribute to Streets of Rage:
Beats of Rage!!
Development
----------------------
Beats of Rage was created by Senile Team. However, the character sprites and
some parts of the backgrounds are taken from 'the King of Fighters' games by
SNK Playmore. Therefore special thanks go out to SNK Playmore and SEGA who
unknowingly helped in creating this game.

music, and features six playable levels plus a bonus level. It is available

Making something portable usually means stripping away the excess plastic and coming up with a streamlined beauty. Not in the world's first portable Sega Saturn's case though, which comes to us via the BenHeck.com forums.
The Saturn's been dead and gone for 11 years now, so modder Evil Nod certainly earns our kudos for turning it portable—and making me remember those brilliantly hilarious Saturn adverts from the mid-90s. If you haven't seen the delights of the Segata Sanshiro adverts on YouTube, definitely check them out.
Going back to the portable creation, it's just the full-sized console slimmed down and stuck in an ugly box, with a 7-inch LCD screen for playing NiGHTS Into Dreams and Virtua Cop. In the words of Segata Sanshiro, "you must play the Sega Saturn!"

Deviating from the way we would expect Sega to mark the 32X's 15th anniversary -- by trying really hard to forget about the 32X, just like every year -- the company has announced a CD full of music from 32X games. The Super 32X 15th Anniversary Album includes what looks to be all the tracks from Space Harrier, Stellar Assault, Virtua Racing Deluxe, Parasquad, Metal Head, and Virtua Fighter, all as they sounded on the 32X.
The CD will be released through Sega's Wavemaster label on March 31 for ¥3,625 ($40), which is more than you should pay for a 32X system.
