I went to Revival Studio's facebook group to ask why Radium never got released for the Dreamcast. He had stated he lost contact with Goat Store but told me he is in the works for a new shooter for the Dreamcast. He had told me you can find a screenshot for the game at his twitter http://www.twitter.com/revival_studios. I am not to sure what screenshot he is saying the game is but here is a guess.

14 years since its release and the Sega Dreamcast refuses to die with a small, but dedicated fanbase that continues to develop and purchase games for it. Last year we had NGEV.TEAM's Gunlord, and its creator René Hellwig's upcoming Dreamcast title Redux: Dark Matters more than doubled its Kickstarter goal. Now Redux's developer Hucast Games is at it again with shmup The Ghost Blade, due on Sega's final console in 2013.
Hucast explained on its blog that Redux was planned for a December 2012 release, but the developer decided to take extra time to add a seventh "Dark Planet" stage, while a eparate team is branching off to work on The Ghost Blade.The developer described The Ghost Blade as an "ace shoot 'em up for the Sega Dreamcast" that focuses on arcade action with an elaborate scoring system. The game will feature three ships to choose from and contain three game modes: Caravan, Time Attack, and a five-stage game mode.In true retro form, the online leaderboards will require a code to upload, while the screen orientation can be switched between TATE (3:4) and YOKO (4:3).

Sega Saturn emulator for Windows has been updated recently. Changes:
- This new release is about change, on both the user interface and the emulation core.
- We added an essential feature missing in Qt port: the debug interface. With this new feature, we now recommend the Qt port as default port for Linux (and friends) and Windows. You can also use it on Mac OS X or you can use the specific Cocoa port. This port gained a new feature too: it can now loads ISO and BIN/CUE files, so you can play on a Mac without an optical drive.
- There’s been many changes on the emulation side too: The software renderer is now a big boy and now handles transparency and many other VDP2 features, making many more games playable. The OpenGL renderer also include a number of new features, but as the software renderer, though slower, is running more games, we made it the default.
- The last big thing in this release is it will be the last to support some options, mainly ports, that we will remove as we can’t, or don’t want, to maintain them anymore.
- First, we remove three ports that have been superceded by better alternatives:
-- the native Windows port in favor of the Qt port;
-- the Carbon port for the Cocoa one;
-- the Wii port, you can find a better one on WiiBrew.
The PSP port will disappear too, except if someone feels like taking it over.
On the technical side, this will also be the last release to be buildable with autotools and we’re dropping support for autopackage.

Following on from my last newspost NickyP has also released a fair few demos of his Beats of Rage projects:

A side-scrolling, arcade style remake of FF1 from the NES! Was pretty popular among homebrew sites when released, despite how simple of a game it is. I'm still actively working on it!

Phantasy Star II+IV
Another "challenge" project of mine, similiar to Fire Emblem. Plays very differently from normal BOR mods. Be sure to watch the How To Play animation in game!

Mobile Suit Z-Gundam
My first official "shmup"! Based on the anime of the same name. 5 playable characters, but just 3 stages to play. I don't really work on this one anymore, but I do update it every now and then. Be sure to read the readme!

via http://www.dreamcast-scene.com/news/...eting-scandal/
Hucast, developer of 2009 Dreamcast exclusive shooter Dux, and it’s upcoming shooter Redux: Dark Matters, is at the center of a deceptive marketing scandal centered around the stand alone release of DUX 1.5.According to Redux’s Kickstarter page; Dux 1.5 was part of a 2-disk set for the Limited Edition of the game, which would be restricted to only a thousand copies.Redux: Dark Matters Limited Edition for Sega Dreamcast and DUX 1.5 for Sega Dreamcast (2 disc set)! Only 1000 copies will EVER be produced. Available exclusively on Kickstarter!
In addition to a stand alone release, Dux 1.5 is also bundled with Redux Regular Edition. Consequently Hucast has effectively released a bundle which surpasses the limited edition as the Limited Edition gives buyers just the game disk where as the regular edition bundle packages Dux 1.5, separately with case and manuals.
Fans have taken up their complaints on Hucast’s Facebook page to which the developers responded by stating that Kick Starter backers who pledged their support with a 100$ would receive the game in a steel case and stated that they would try to avoid confusion in the future.
