PiCiJi has updated his Sega Master System, Game Gear and SG-1000 emulator TwoMbit with cycle accurate emulation.
Quote:
v 1.0.4
- [bugfix] sample playback for tone counter 0 (chess games sms/gg)
- [bugfix] vdp access times for SG 1000 (Monaco GP)
- [bugfix] for gear to gear games in single gear mode. These games expect the send flag successfull seted, even the data is sended into nothing (Lemmings, GP Rider)
- [bugfix] for gear to gear mode. Some games read receive data too soon. My initial assumption was that each shifted bit is saved in an accessible register directly, but its stored in a buffer until all shifting is done. (GP Rider again)
- [bugfix] increased the distance between 2 running game gears. Some games are unable to determine about gear 1 and 2. (Popeye)
- [feature] allowed Super Tetris to run. The game don´t expect port 3e. Maybe the korean sms, based on the japanese one, don´t have it. I would consider this as a game specific hack.
- [feature] added command line support. Now you can assign games to the emulator.
- [feature] added the option to disable sms borders. means borders are always black and reduced. To maintain aspect ratio borders can not removed completly
- [feature] added 4% overscan for normal border display to resemble real TV viewport, means smaller borders

We continue with the games engine KXL. This time it is a simple port, so do not expect any big game ...
But hey, I guess all homebrew is welcome, no? With you, Geki5 .
<center><iframe height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/yF0ccC9lhJ4?rel=0" frameBorder="0" width="560" allowfullscreen=""></iframe></center>
Geki5 has a mechanism very similar to Space Invaders. It has 8 very short phase, but the source code to add many more levels easily. Use the library KXL , already used in other games like Big or SpaceAryarya. download (Downloads -> IberDC) includes the compiled binary code and source (GPLv2). As always, the port includes 50/60Hz selector and saving scores VMU (2 blocks).

OpenBOR is a continuation of the Beats Of Rage 2D game, which was originally
created by the wonderful folks over at http://www.senileteam.com
This release is for the Dreamcast, PSP, Wii Wiz, GP2x and Dingoo:
Heres whats new;
-
r3710 | utunnels | 2012-06-12 23:13:59 -0400 (Tue, 12 Jun 2012) | 5 lines
Changed paths:
M /engine/openbor.c
M /engine/openbor.h
M /engine/openborscript.c
Clearning up some code.
Changes: changeplayerproperty no longer returns value. The old function doesn't return properly on every property, so just remove it for the feature is a bit useless and doesn't show the exact problem. Should print proper error messages when necessary.
Fix: defense/offense related properties now store values in entity instead of its model.

Studio head of Football Manager developer Sports Interactive Miles Jacobson has responded to rumours of Sega Europe's closure.
"Interweb rumours of SEGA Europe closing are false. Rumours of Dirk Kuyt signing for Fenerbache? Much more likely," he stated on Twitter.
"Repeating stuff from blogs without any source verification is not journalism. It's gossip."
The source of the story was a post on message board NeoGaf that claimed Sega Europe was to close, with the publisher moving exclusively into the mobile and tablet market. That post apparently originated from a news story on French site Gamekyo.

Sega has confirmed the games which will be playable at its E3booth next week, and Platinum Games' Anarchy Reigns is troublingly conspicuous by its absence.
Parent company Sega Sammy is restructuring its loss-making videogame business, warning of layoffs across its western operation as it focuses on its more commercially viable IP likeSonic, Total War and Aliens. In a blog post, the publisher confirms the games it is taking to E3.
Gearbox's Aliens: Colonial Marines will be playable on the show floor, as will Super Monkey Ball's Vita debut, subtitled Banana Splitz. There's also Ron Gilbert's new game, The Cave; downloadable brawler Virtua Figher 5 Final Showdown; the HD remake of Jet Set Radio, recently announced for Vita as well as the console download services; and Hell Yeah! Wrath Of The Dead Rabbit.
But the absence of Anarchy Reigns further suggests that Platinum's ambitious multiplayer brawler will not see the light of day in the west - at least, not for some time, given that two of the games confirmed for the show, Aliens and The Cave, aren't due until early 2013.
Platinum admitted over the weekend that, while Anarchy Reignswas still on track for its July release date in Japan, the western launch was now "to be confirmed". Worryingly, the studio advised western players to import, pointing out that the Japanese release would be fully localised in multiple languages.
The news will also raise concern over the prospect of a western localisation of Yakuza 5. Due in Japan in December, the fifth game in Toshihiro Nagoshi's RPG-brawler series is the most ambitious since the original, with five playable characters and a greatly improved engine.

Dreamcasteros Greetings friends, here's another Sunday we are at the foot of the canyon. You know, from fans to fans:-P. Today I present to you ... SpaceAryarya . In SpaceAryarya the player flies forward with a jetpack (Space Harrier style) and must destroy enemies with a pistol green bubbles while avoiding enemies.
<center><iframe height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/JkCvc8TzkQo?rel=0" frameBorder="0" width="420" allowfullscreen=""></iframe></center>
Although quite short (only 2 levels), it is interesting and entertaining. Use the KXL engine, which was recently reporteado to PVR (watch the game "Big"). Is licensed GPLv2 and can easily add new levels. In addition, the Dreamcast port to include the typical 50/60Hz selector and saving scores on the VMU (2 blocks). As always, you have the binary and source code in the Downloads - > IberDC.

And so friends! one of the development team indicated that the more we pamper these times is 2D-RP and a few weeks to give us his last game, "Battle Rectangle," he announced another gem for blanquita, it is a Party-game where they can compete up to 4 players to see who is the dead of all! XD
Surely many of those who asked for a little variety will be jumping for joy to see that this is not another game ships!
The game is a graduation project in Gfx ARTIST of 2D-RP ( Jana , aka " sylphiren ") and available for DREAMCAST and X-box360, as you can see in the video has a very nice pint and barbara! The game is dated for July 12 in DC and Xbox Live indie games ... so tuned! In addition, comment on your page of facebook then launch a demo of SAVIOUR (his other game 2d rpg and action in development for Dreamcast ) and depending on its quality, fans of the system may decide if they want to launch the game in physical format ($) or they had been doing until now, for free and receive donations. I think if the game has the quality that appears to have no one bother to spend about dinerillos in a new commercial release right? Anyway, from here I send a: 2D-RP thank you very much!
