Achievements for the Genesis Rogue-like ToeJam & Earl have popped up over atXbox360Achievements under the tag of Sega Vintage Collection. That suggests that not only is Toejam and Earl imminent on XBLM, but that it's part of the next bundle of Sega classics for both XBLA and PSN.
The last Sega Vintage Collection (Numero 3) came in May, bringing old-timers like Super-Hang On, The Revenge of Shinobi, and Alex Kidd in Miracle World to 360s and PS3s. What the next collection may offer is anyone's guess - beyondToeJam and Earl, that is.
There remains no official Sega announcement on an XBLA or PSN release ofToeJam and Earl. However, back in July the creators of the game confirmed toXBLAFans that the publisher is planning to release it on XBLM and PSN. We've reached out to Sega for confirmation.

Heres one for collectors, someone has posted a rare Derby Stallion Rare Sega Saturn Console on Ebay, heres a look at it:
Heres the info:
New original Derby Stallion Limited Edition Sega Saturn Console, Released in Japan and Limited to 20.000 Units only makes it the rarest Released Sega Saturn of all time.Complete Original Undamaged Outter Box & Inner Carton, all original Manuals, Leaflets, leads, never opened of course, even the original memory battery is originally sealed.
This comes From my personal collection of once over 45 new and unique consoles and handhelds from around the world, some I sell now and again as my japanese games collection needs funding.
I play my Saturn Games on the Smoke Grey Skeleton type Saturn which was bought unboxed and used so I have no guilt about using that, but this one I'm selling is Pristine and unused a real collectors item.
Finally a few notes on Import Consoles, Please be aware this is a Japanese NTSC Console, It Plays Japanese Games as standard also it needs a voltage stepdown converter if used in the UK, that will 'Stepdown' The Voltage from our 240 Volts to a Japanese 110 Volts, these are easily and readily availabe at electrical outlets, ebay, amazon etc for around £10.

There are masochists, and then there are masochists. We'd have to put French hackers Dyak and Furrtek in the latter category. The two ingenious and self destructive modders tweaked the beloved Sega Genesisto send signals to a pair of controllers any time the player takes damage. That signal doesn't produce rumbles or blinking lights, however, it's passed through a port to a shock collar meant for dogs. That's right, every time you get hit, you get zapped. The jolt of electricity you receive is hardly deadly, but it's certainly not pleasant, as you can tell from the barrage of obscenities bleeped out of the above video. The hack isn't exactly easy but, if you're bold, and don't mind a bit of pain, you'll find full details of the mod at the source link.

But games business shows operating loss of £13m
Sega Sammy has returned to profit and reported £20m earnings for the three months ending June 30th.
The latest financial report shows a significant improvement on the £18m loss made during the same quarter last year.
The company’s games business however showed an operating loss of almost £13m, although this was down from a substantial loss of £31m the year before.
Sega claimed demand had weakened for packaged games due to the severe economic environment in the USA and Europe, but performance for digital software for mobile, and PC had remained favourable.
Whilst Sega has still reporting an operating loss for the last quarter, the figures show a significant improvement for the publisher as it restructures its European operations in a bid to generate more profit for the businesss.

Supermodel SVN r269 is compiled. Supermodel is a Sega Model 3 arcade emulator. Supermodel emulates Sega's Model 3 arcade platform, allowing you to play a number of ground-breaking 3D classics on your PC.
Supermodel SVN Changelog:
r268
Slight tweak to changes made to sound board synchronisation code in previous commit. The previous change was necessary to ensure no deadlock when waiting for sound board thread to exit but it introduced unwanted buffer overruns (with the end result being that the sound was often speeded up) so have added an extra check in WakeSoundBoardThread to prevent this.
r269
Small tweak to get to compile under GCC (Unix/MacOS)
