DUX is now done. Producing and releasing this game can take about two weeks.
All pre-orders getting a small sticker as a bonus, and all pre-orders that get an poster are also getting the standalone OST as a bonus. Btw, on the Original Soundtrack that comes with the LE you can find an exlusive outtake tune and also three re-arranges from the Obvious Soundtrack.
Thanks for your patience.
You can order the game here: http://www.hucast.net/shop/catalog/browse

What kind of car would you associate with Sonic the Hedgehog? Does Sonic have any defining characteristics that some cars share? Ah, that's right! He's small! Smaller than a normal car.
... at least, that's how Sega of France's thinking seems to have gone. A Sega fan spotted this Sonic Unleashed-branded Smart and sent a picture into Sega's Sonic blog. We suppose it's appropriate given the game it's advertising: it makes as much sense to pitch a game about running fast with a pokey, bulbous little car as it does to make half of that game about a stretchy-armed werehog. At least the car's mostly blue.

Think The Conduit is the biggest Sega first-person-shooter news this year? ... You're right. But it's not the only Sega-related FPS being published on an unexpected platform. A team of homebrewers is working on a game called Hypertension for Windows, Linux ... and Dreamcast. Great news for all of you who just bought the system!
Hypertension is a reimagining of Blood, made in the Doom-based EDGE engine. The use of fairly antiquated technology, and source material, seem appropriate for a game being released on a console that came out in 1999 After the break, you can see some footage of the current alpha version of Hypertension, which is looking very Doomy. TDGMods has yet to specify a release date for the game, but it's not like there's a rush at this point. The Dreamcast will still be old.

News via emurussia
Sega MegaDrive/Game Gear/Master System/SG/SC emulator has been updated. Changes:
- A little limitation of vcell scrolling emulated correctly. Thanks to Steve Snake for detailed info on this. (F1 World Champioship, Kawasaki Challenge use this).
- Changed the YM2413 emulator a little. Should sound more accurate. (After Burner 2, Ys (J) etc..)
- Many new YM2612 improvements and upates. Thanks to the new research and testing by Nemesis.
- Sprite masking bug in Mickey Mania fixed.
- Many improvements to renderer. Now passes all of the sprite masking and limitations tests.
- Cheats fixed.
- Palette select bit emulated. Sik's ROM ****s up correctly now :P.
- Completely overhauled Z80 handling and emulation. RAZE has been removed. It has been tested quite heavily alongside the real thing by Tiido and is very close to the real hardware now. But this has made emulator a bit slow as well. My thanks goes to Tiido for testing this.
- Fixed lightgun support which got broken in 0.95.
- Option added to remove flickering while in interlacing mode.
- Fixed AVI recording.
- Improved stability and crashes (hopefully).
- Option added to force the output image aspect to be 4:3 (which the real hardware does). In this mode, games with 256 pixels width will be scaled to 320.
- Ability to load SMS/GG ROMs from the command line.

EGA Sammy Holdings has recorded a JPY 22.8 billion (USD 239 million) loss for the financial year ended March 31, 2009, up from losses of JPY 52.4 billion (USD 550 million) the previous year.
Sales during that time hit JPY 429 billion (USD 4.5 billion), down 6.5 per cent year-on-year, with videogame sales falling by 13.4 per cent in the same time frame comparison.
Full year sales for the videogames segment was slightly higher than expected, at JPY 82.1 billion (USD ) based on sales of Sonic & Mario, Football Manager 2009, Empire: Total War and Sonic and the Black Knight.
The main reason for the reduction in sales was the continued appreciated of the Yen, but the company has also moved to trim down titles and reduce R&D expense for the fiscal year ahead.
The company's most lucrative platform for new releases was the Wii, netting 3.92 million unit sales, followed by the DS on 3.17 million, the PlayStation 3 on 3.13 million, the Xbox 360 on 2.12 million and the PC on 1.98 million.
Europe meanwhile was where the company sold the most games - including catalogue releases - on 12.7 million, followed by the US on 12.4 million and Japan (plus the rest of the world) on 4.2 million units.

The list of changes between the 4.x and the 5.0 release is too long to post it here, you can find the full changelog here.

Hello there.
I ported Convey SDL to the Dreamcast. Hooray! It's now the 3rd dreamcast port of this game.
My port doesn't even suppport the joypad, you can only use the keyboard. Blame me! ;-) I'll release a fixed version
soon. The next update should have some new levels, too.
I used SDL and KallistiOS from DC Dev ISO R4 to compile it. Please also note that this game was only tested on emulators (Makaron and nullDC), though it should work on a real Dreamcast as well.
You can find burning instructions on sites like dcemulation.org or dreamcast-scene.com.
Original game can be found here: http://www.cloudsprinter.com/software/
Have fun!
