Sega Dreamcast emulator for PC updated.
I’ve uploaded a new OS X binary package that actually runs on 10.4 now. It also includes a fix for the Intel GMA950, and a new .dst document icon. In any case, you probably only want this if the previous package didn’t work for you.

drk||Raziel has posted some very interesting news for fans of his Dreamcast Emulator and also those interested in getting a Pandora Console and owners of PS3 and Nintendo Wii
After the code is cleaned up/rewriten there are plans to port to pandora and possibly other consoles (wii seems like a nice target, ps3 if theres a way to get 3D access). ALL THIS MAY(OR MAY NOT) COME AFTER THE CODE IS REWRITEN, SO DONT ASK ABOUT IT NOW(you’l just waste your time, realy). The code will be open sourced as soon as it gets stable.
Videos of Null DC here
Remember the Dreamcast has a ton of homebrew that me accessible through this emulator.

drk||Raziel has posted some info on his blog regarding the Dreamcast Emulator for the PSP:
nullDC/psp will only be for psp lite. The old(’fat’) psp just doesnt have the ram space needed, nothing i can do about that.
The current speeds are very low, but that is expected. There is no dynarec, no optimisation, not even a single mips assembly line on the current source. Most of the current code (everything, apart from 3d rendering) is based on the pc version of nullDC, and most of this code will be replaced. So yeah, IT WILL TAKE QUITE SOME TIME BEFORE THE PROJECT IS ANYTHING NEAR USEABLE.
The current speed (as stated by the on screen couters) is around 10%. THIS IS WRONG, IT IS ACTUALY LOWER. The interpreter runs underclocked (to make the speed bearable). This also happens on the pc build of nullDC when using interpreter (for the same reasons). The rps field (renders per second) is accurate.
After the code is cleaned up/rewriten there are plans to port to pandora ( www.openpandora.org, realy cool stuff ) and possibly other consoles (wii seems like a nice target, ps3 if theres a way to get 3D access). ALL THIS MAY(OR MAY NOT) COME AFTER THE CODE IS REWRITEN, SO DONT ASK ABOUT IT NOW(you’l just waste your time, realy). The code will be open sourced as soon as it gets stable.
While i think it is possible to get fullspeed on psp it is quite likely that i will be proven wrong. I CAN NOT MAKE ANY PROMISSES ABOUT THE SPEED, I ONLY PROMISE I WILL TRY TO GET IT FAST.
If you somehow think this project is wasted time, then dont waste any more commenting/thinking about it. My time is .. mine, i can do whatever i want with it. Seriusly, if you want to say something bad just save your time, it wont realy change anything .
There, i hope this clears up some things. If for some reason you’re still confused read over the bold parts, that will help
Lets hope and pray that NUllDC can be ported at a playable speed, i do have faith that the coder will do his very best, exciting news for PSP owners.

Ron has released his Commodore 64 Emulator for Dreamcast, heres the release details:
Some already know that I'm going through the stage MBC and turns with Panera, which symbolically and in key humor is how I see the Commodore Vic 20 and 64.
This version is a port of the version that DreamFrodo 0.94 ported Tolga Abaci based on the 4.1 Frodo by Christian Bauer.
Initially developed to run on a version of KOS (0.9 * 1.0 + newlib) very primitive (version 2001 * 2002), and therefore not incompatible with the compiler toolchains current version is updated from 1.3 to KOS (KallistiOS 1.3 svn updated to 561) is the DreamFrodo 0.94 (2002). Therefore it comes to the rescue emulator and make it available to update with more modern tools.
Well, all you enjoy the C64 already have an emulator with a lot of options, all functional and above all the more surprising is its speed. This first version alpha is activated emulation unit 1541, which recommend that disable for greater compatibility and Joystick default is switched to port2 of C64 (most of the games use).
Supports two Pads connected keyboard and Dreamcast, has a virtual keyboard which is accessed through the X button to access the main menu emulator simply pressing START. Being totally lost in Castilian not be getting any for guiding the options.
In principle should open zip files, but yet has given me time to try it, so appeal to all those who want to collaborate with the development and updating of emulator doing the work of beta testing. You can post your views and comments.
Have lots of BUGS, are visible if you fijais, such as the blitteo depending on which games, so the most important thing is to go for future corrections detecting anything that improves the emulator on loyalty and quality.
In short days after a cleaning source publishing sources, which actually unchanged except all parts of KOS who have had to be rewritten to work in environments up to date.
In this version my thanks to my great teacher Troy Davis, aka GPF and my good colleagues Indiket and Guaripolo stamina when I'm in a trance DC.

During our transition to opensource project, we've came across small problem -- the team that worked on new website just doesn't have enough time to actually finish it. Is there any volunteer who want's to help? Deep knowledge of PHP is a must. Experience with web engines is a plus

Dee Dee Planet was planned for the Dreamcast back in 2001, but never saw the light of day. It was reportedly nearly finished, and developed by a web designer called Dori Dock. You can find an interview with the creator back here on the wayback machine, but more interestingly you can see some actual footage of the game. It's very indie styled, so I'm not surprised it never came out...still, quite interesting. The guy making it said he'd never played videogames before. Curious!

News via dreamcastes
kelvinblue16 has posted a new Beats of Rage Mod for Dreamcast Fans, heres the full news from him:
Elfen lied (エルフェンリート, Erufen Rīto?) Is a Japanese manga created by Lynn Okamoto, as well as the anime based on it. Traffic on the race of diclonius, a mutation of the human being with horns, and their violent relationship with the rest of humanity. It contains scenes of nudity and a generous dose of blood, gore and psychological violence. The title of elfen lied, pronounced [ˈ ɛ lf ə No ː li t] comes from German and means "Song Elven", takes its name from the poem Elfenlied of Eduard Mörike.
(IMG: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1.../elfenlied.jpg )
The story begins with a young girl, named Lucy, escaping from a research facility on an island near the coast of Kamakura in Kanagawa Prefecture in Japan. Disarmed and naked, except for a full-face helmet metal that covers the head and hide their features, Lucy manages to leave the compound after dismembering and killing several guards and employees using, apparently, a kind of supernatural powers. Moments before escaping, a sniper shoots him in the head with a rifle caliber tank of 50, starting his helmet, causing slight injury and discovering two bony protuberances, like little horns off his head; after this, Lucy was unconscious despeña by a cliff and fell into the sea.
Lucy is not a normal human being, but a diclonius, a human mutation with two small horns on her head like ears of a cat. The diclonius have an extra-sensory perception that allows them to feel the presence of other diclonius. They also seem to have powers telequinéticos, although in reality it is their delivery systems, long arms invisible able to vibrate at a frequency that may come to cut hard materials such as metal or stone. The diclonius can reproduce the form of conventional or infecting a human vectors to insert these into your body. The future children of that person will be diclonius, a variant called silpelit; unlike the normal diclonius, silpelits grow twice as fast as humans and are sterile in the conventional sense, being able to reproduce only through their delivery systems.

Ron of the Dreamcast ES website has released 2 new test releases for the Dreamcast Scene, heres the translated details:
Here we continue to rigorously tests and applying a few good tips that Chui has given me.
Accordingly continue to emerge many examples and games that are perfectly usable, for the moment I can tell that the level of portability is quite high, except Windows versions that are infumables.
Zelda and Pacman are two small games, Zelda is a version of 8 bit primitive and not as a remake of Pacman. Both are handled with pad / keyboard and the source is in each of them.
The idea is that you have contact with the source code in C and C + + libraries using Allegro covers by Chui and taking examples will always be easier to implement your ports and creations when bookstores are definitely not published hope that lengthening much in his first public release.

MEGADEMO IV 2 is an audiovisual experiment by Artwork.
Quote from http://www.digital-circuits.org/mdiv2/index.html :
This is a quite unusual "scene" demo. As it is unusual in several aspects. It has a very uncommon style using lots of multilayered effects, nearly no 3d scenes and a it has only a "sound-background" instead of the usual, mostly techno-style demo musics.
The other very unusual aspect is that this demo is 100% system independent, it is portable. This was achieved by programming the demo in 100% ANSI C and using no hardware or OS-specific functions (special interrupts etc.)
The demo has been ported to Dreamcast by Marq/Fit.
