This release is dedicated to all of those who have worked on
DCRPG prior to me. Trilinear, cehbab, and everyone else who is
no longer a part of the project; you will all be missed.

------------ About ------------
DCRPG was started long ago as a project to create an RPG for the
Dreamcast video game console. However, after its inception, but
prior to a first release, the main programmer of the project,
Trilinear, had to leave. The project changed hands and fell under
the control of MrSiggler (Kris McAulay) and cehbab. DCRPG then was
progressing well under the CrossGaming system, however, once again,
prior to a release, the main programmer, cehbab (this time), had to
leave the project high and dry.

In 2004, MrSiggler approached me, Lawrence Sebald (BlueCrab), and
we began work on DCRPG again. The code was completely rewritten from
the last attempt, and in fact, looks nothing like the old DCRPG.

------------ What is it? ------------
DCRPG is a project to create a 2D MMORPG for the Sega Dreamcast video
game console.

------------ What do I need to compile it? ------------
In order to compile DCRPG, you will need the following
libraries:

* KallistiOS (subversion 165 or newer) (http://gamedev.allusion.net)
* FreeType 2 (available at http://ljsdcdev.sunsite.dk/)
* libpng (included with KOS)
* zlib (included with KOS)
* libcrabclaw 0.9.1 (http://ljsdcdev.sourceforge.net/)

------------ What do I need to run it? ------------
In order to run DCRPG, you will need the following things:

* A Dreamcast Video Game Console
* A Blank CD-R disc
* A bit of patience
* The files in dcrpg-0.0.1.tar.bz2
* An IP.BIN file

Tutorials of how to burn things for the Dreamcast can be found in
many places on the internet, such as http://mc.pp.se/dc/.
